#71 - WinterJam

It's been a pretty amazing Saturday, other than our little trip to the Urgent Care this afternoon. The girls poison ivy had gotten a little worse. Anna's was spreading on her face and was getting too close to her eyes. While we were there we went ahead and had Holly's checked too. They gave them a steroid shot and some medicine and it already looks better.

The amazing part of our day was being able to attend WinterJam in Lexington tonight. We ended up riding with Nina and the kiddos after we got finished at the UC center.
Here they are in the van all excited!

Well, except for Eli not wanting his picture taken :D

The line was cRaZy! There was over 16,000 people there.

There was several bands that played, but here were some of our favorites.
This is Francesca Battistelli - the girl's favorite!

Here is where she was singing "This is the Stuff" Loved it!

The David Crowder Band was great!!! I don't think they have a song that we don't like.

David Crowder :D His haircut and beard are a little shocking to see in person, but he's got a great voice and even better - a heart for God!

The girlies having fun!

Even these girlies :D
(Although Nina and I both could definitely tell that we're not 20 anymore :o)

Kutless did a great job too. They turned out to be one of my faves of the night.

Chris August only sang one song. :( Wish he could have done more.

Then the Newsboys rounded the evening out.
They did this crazy trick with their drummer where he was literally spinning around - sideways!

Tony Nolan also spoke and gave his amazing testimony. Along with a few other speakers.
It was a great night of worship and we're looking forward to next year!

Psalm 150:1-6
"Praise the LORD.
Praise God in His sanctuary;
praise Him in His mighty heavens.
Praise Him for His acts of power;
praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise Him with the harp and lyre,
praise Him with timbrel and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and pipe,
praise Him with the clash of cymbals,
praise Him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD."

Tyler has terrible reactions to poison ivy and it's always near his face!!

That concert looks great... although I wouldn't want to be that drummer. I think I would've wanted more Chris August, too!!
