Our prayers are with all of those affected by the earthquakes and tsunami's around the world. Just seeing some of the coverage today is just shocking and makes you truly wonder if the rocks are crying out to Jesus.
Now my daily post seems so insignificant, but here it goes. :/
We woke up to a little bit of snow covering this morning. On March 11th.
Today our homeschool co-op group went on a field trip to the Lexington Children's Theatre to watch Anne Frank and Me. It was a great performance and very emotional. I think the girls enjoyed it and learned a little as well. We've been studying about WWII and this play helped them learn even more. Brian's grandfather was in WWII in the Army and arrived in Normandy, France 3 days after D-Day. He gives full glory to God for him arriving 3 days later because as he put it - he probably wouldn't have survived it. He is going to talk to the girls and tell them some stories as soon as he gets to feeling better. We also think we found a picture of him in a documentary that was in the bounus features in the movie Saving Private Ryan. It looks exactly like him and when we printed it off and showed him he even says he believes it's him. I think we've got it saved somewhere - I'll have to do a search and post it.

After the play we had lunch at Five Guys and as usual it didn't disappoint.
In fact, we are all still full from our lunch :-P Or it may have been the dessert at Chick-fil-A on the way home! Those Banana Pudding Milkshakes are very tasty!

I'm so far behind on blog reading (since Kale was in)...but I'm catching up.
What a fun day! I'd love to see that play. And what a COOL story about Brian's grandpa!
