Last Sunday we stopped by the Rogers House that has been turned into the Battle of Richmond Visitors & History Center. This house was built around 1811 by Adam Rogers. The house and its three acres are located where some the heaviest action of Phase II of the Battle of Richmond took place. The house was among many in the area that also served as a recuperation facility for wounded troops. (http://www.battleofrichmond.org/)
It is a beautiful house and they have done a wonderful job with the restoration.
