My best friend's mother-in-law went home be with Jesus today. Donna was an absolutely precious godly woman that loved everyone she met. I would've loved to have seen her face as she looked at her Savior today!
She has battled cancer on and off for the past 5 years and told me often, "Jenn, I just don't think God is finished with me yet here on this earth!" She was right because everytime she said that she would regain strength and battle on. Even this afternoon as she took her last breath her testimony and witness was so strong and evident and will continue to be as long as time stands.
She will be greatly missed, but because of the hope we have in Jesus there will be a great reunion in heaven one of these days!2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

I am so sorry for your loss... it sounds like she was a STRONG, faithful woman. Love the verse you chose for today...
