Dad turned 60!

Dad turned 60 at the beginning of August. I don't think he wanted us to make a big deal out of his big day. His gf and I had planned on doing a cookout in the next coming weeks. But on his actual b-day we took him a cake and gave him a photo album with pics of him all through the years.

I think he liked it :)

Dad recently bought his aunt's (my great aunt) house and acreage, so we took a walk to the back of the property. They have fed this cow since she was born. Her name is Belle and she followed us for a little while. It was cute.

Not knowing the plans ahead of time, we just ran by and bought a pre-made cake and this was the most masculine one that they had, unless you count the black cake with red roses.

Here is dad enjoying his cake at about 10:00 p.m. that night. :)

We had fun and I look forward to the cookout....soon.
