JANUARY
For my birthday we went up to Perfect North Slopes to go tubing!
So much fun!
That month we also attended the Prayer Caucus at the Capitol.
FEBRUARY
We attended the Pro-LIFE rally at the Capitol!
We made a day trip with a few people from our church to NE Tennessee for a funeral visitation for another sweet member of our church's mother.
We celebrated Valentine's Day!
We celebrated Holly's 10th Birthday!!!
We did a little celebrating at Champs!
MARCH
We spent several hours in the cellar due to tornadoes being all around us!
We thankfully didn't get any damage!
We had some sweet visitors! Aidan, Vicki, and Trent came up for a visit and we also were able to go to the Creation Museum with them.
APRIL
The girls tried on Daddy Burnam's uniforms from World War II!
Easter!
I went to the Women of Joy conference with these two sweet women of joy! :)
Brian and the girls picked me up from TN and we were on our way to Alabama for Brian to attend class for work!
The girls and I ate dessert at the Irondale Cafe in Birmingham that was the inspiration for the movie Fried Green Tomatoes.
Then we headed down to Ft. Walton Beach for a mini vacation!
We enjoyed that trip so very much! One of the perks of homeschooling - go after normal spring break and you get a half priced condo!
Anna celebrated her 4th Spiritual Birthday!
On our way home from the beach we stayed one night with this sweet family! Our friends from AL that we met in 2008 on a mission trip!
MAY
We helped Brian build a dock raft for his Papaw's pond!
For Memorial Day we went to grave sites and cleaned headstones and planted flowers.
Then went to Turkey Foot in Jackson County to have a picnic.
JUNE
The Dolphins' swim meets started!
Holly did really well for her first year!
JULY
Brian had to work early on the 5th, so the girls and I went to watch the fireworks for Independence Day!
We had a great VBS! Anna drew this picture for the night I taught.
We went on a camping adventure to the Land Between the Lakes and had a few field trips thrown in along the way!

AUGUST
We fully supported Chick-fil-A on their appreciation day by going twice! :)
The girls got some different haircuts!
We had Dad a surprise birthday party with Jan at Aunt Luevada's house!
My honey and I celebrated our 16th anniversary!
We had our traditional first day of school field trip! We went to Abraham Lincoln's birthplace in Hopkinsville, KY.
We also stopped by Fort Harrod in Harrodsburg.

The girls got new dresses and participated in the Battle of Richmond reenactment.
SEPTEMBER
We took some photos in anticipation for Bella's baby sister!
We went to Brian's work's family fun day!
And he won the TV!
Holly celebrated her 4th Spiritual Birthday!
Anna celebrated her 13th birthday! I am still not able to fully grasp this. :)
She chose to go on a shopping trip with Holly and Sissy!

OCTOBER
We welcomed our great niece Jerrie Laneigh Harper into the world!
The girls and I had our annual fall photo shoot!
Brian's dad had a liver transplant!
Praise the Lord everything went well and he is still doing really good!

NOVEMBER
We voted and then got our traditional pancake breakfast!
We gathered wood. :)
We had a great Thanksgiving, but I didn't get hardly any pictures.
Vicki, Trent, and Aidan came to visit us the last weekend in November and we had the best time!!!

DECEMBER
Our sweet friend Amanda graduated from Berea College. :)
The girls were in the Christmas play at church. Anna read a poem and Holly was the lead role and the mom of 3 boys!!!

To round out the year was our family trip to Pigeon Forge!
It was a very blessed year and it is joy to look back at all of the things that happened in 2012. As we venture into 2013 we must turn our minds and hearts to the Lord for all things!
Our Hope is in Him and Him alone!
